FA Cup action returns this weekend as the fourth round kicks off featuring some enticing ties and many potential upsets as Premier League sides face lower league clubs.

West Ham travel to Aggborough Stadium to take on non-league Kidderminster, Liverpool face Cardiff, Man City host Fulham and Chelsea welcome Plymouth Argyle.

Here’s our betting preview and top tips from the matches this weekend…

Kidderminster vs West Ham: Betting Tip

This FA Cup fourth round fixture is sure not to disappoint with plenty of opportunities for goals as West Ham have been rallying this season in comparison to expectations.

Kidderminster have only lost once since their FA Cup win over Championship side Reading in the third round.

They are on track for one of their biggest cup runs of their history and can secure a windfall if they secure a result against the Hammers this weekend.

These two sides have met once before in this competition and that was in the fifth round back in 1993/94 season where they lost 1-0.

David Moyes is undefeated against non-league sides, winning four and drawing once in his time as manager.

Chelsea vs Plymouth: Betting Tip

Chelsea don’t face Plymouth that often, their last meeting was back in 1989 when the Blues won 1-0 in the second division of English football.

Argyle’s last victory against the Blues was over 42 years ago when they knocked the London side out of the League Cup in the 1970’s but when they do face Chelsea in the FA Cup it’s never been a fruitful endeavour.

Romelu Lukaku has a great record in the FA Cup, he’s only behind Sergio Aguero in the list of players to score the most in the competition since the 13/14 season and could be deployed this weekend.

Thomas Tuchel will be keen to eye this trophy as the Premier League is somewhat out of reach at this early stage and would follow up the European success last year.

But Argyle won’t make it easy for them at Stamford Bridge and they will face a side that have netted 48 goals in the Premier League and are the massive underdogs in League One.

That’s just one more than the Argyle have manage in the league this season and they sit seventh currently battling for a play-off push, though they’ve still conceded 35 goals and this could be a high scoring clash.

talkSPORT EDGE tip: Chelsea to win and over 4.5 goals at 7/5 (888Sport). Get £30 free bets + £10 casino bonus when you bet £10.

Man City v Fulham: Betting Tip

Not only are City the second top scorers in the league but Fulham have surpassed almost every other team in the top divisions of Europe this season, as they have netted 74 already.

It hasn’t often translated into dominating every match, with four losses to their name at the top of the Championship but when they do win, they do it by some margin.

Pep Guardiola’s side are also used to that and have a defensive record to boot though, only conceding 14 all season in the league amounting to only two losses.

City will be eyeing multiple trophies this season and they will be keen to get the goals flowing early against the lower league side despite their run of form going into the match.

Aleksandar Mitrovic has been scoring for fun once again this season scoring 28 goals in 26 games in the league alone but will take on one of the best defences in the Premier League if not the best.

Guardiola won’t shy away from this fixture though and is likely to field some stars that are likely to get goals and chances, including Kevin De Bruyne, Gabriel Jesus and Bernardo Silva.

talkSPORT EDGE tip: Over 4.5 goals at 13/8 (Betfred).

Liverpool vs Cardiff Betting Tip

Cardiff City have bounced back somewhat from poor form but still sit near the bottom end of the league while they face second placed Premier League opposition.

Liverpool and Cardiff haven’t faced each other since 2019 but have often netted a few goals against the Welsh side.

The Reds have scored 15 goals in just their last four meeting against the Blue Birds, winning all four matches in the Premier League.

Their last cup tie however, was in 2012 in the League Cup Final which ended 2-2 and going the distance before Liverpool won on penalties.

This fixture often sees goals and action and shouldn’t be any different this time.

Cardiff are toward the bottom of the Championship while Liverpool are the biggest scorers in the league above them and haven’t stopped scoring with Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah out on international duty at AFCON.

There’s only been six meetings between these two sides after the Millennium with Liverpool winning every single match, but a huge aggregate of 19-8.

talkSPORT EDGE tip: Over 4.5 goals and Jota to score two or more at 15/2 (Betfair).
